I just love this picture of Darren and Peyton. Daddy sure does love his little girl! He has started taking her to preschool on Tuesday's and Thursday's. The week we started this is the week she stopped crying when we took her to preschool each day. She cried on Monday when I dropped her off; did good when Darren dropped her off on Tuesday, running off to start her activities for the day; and when I dropped her off on Wednesday, she got really excited, signed "school" as we approached, was happy to see her teachers, and ran off to one of the tables to start her project for the day. As she was running off, she realized something - stopped - turned around - ran up to me - hugged me - and ran off again. It was the BEST feeling to leave her there with a smile on her face rather than tears in her eyes. Ever since then, she is generally happy to be there, and if she fusses, it's short-lived. Now, if she has a rough day, it's usually on a Monday after we've been home for 3 days, but she's good after a few minutes and really enjoys being there. She is ALWAYS very excited when I get there to pick her up. That's another great feeling!

Peyton has also become very anxious to help out around the house. One of her favorite things to eat is Honey Nut Cheerios, and she LOVES to get the cereal, milk, bowl and spoon out so she can have a bowl or two. This routine generally takes place 2-3 times/day. We think she's going to turn into a Cheerio!

How great to catch up a bit again and to see pictures of Peyton! She is getting cuter every day and it looks like things are going well. Have a very merry Christmas!
