We had an incredibly long flight... We were both miserable by the time we finally landed. We were in the only row on the entire plane with a full row of passengers. Everyone else had 1-2 seats open so they could spread out. We, on the other hand, had a guy who would not stop talking to me, and he was icky and cheesy. We finally put headphones on so he would leave us alone and then he slept for most of the flight. Problem with that is that he was wearing a bulky coat that was partially in my seat and then his one foot was in my space. So poor Darren was scrunched because I was sitting closer to him and sometimes laying on his shoulder. Needless to say, we were SO happy when we finally landed!
Our flight arrived around 6:30 pm local time and it was almost dark so that was crazy. Got through customs without any issues, found our bags and then located our CCAI rep and driver! Shanghai is a beautiful city at night! We finally arrived and settled into our hotel close to 9:00. Darren fell asleep almost immediately while I got our things settled in! Tme for me to go to sleep too.
Only 2 more nights away from you, little girl!

YEA! So happy to see you made it! Turner told me when he thought you were landing, and we were wishing we could text you! That flight sounds miserable! UGH!! You must be exhausted between that and your "all nighter" before you left. Get some rest and get ready for that baby girl!!

OH WE ARE SOOO EXCITED FOR YOU!! Such a bummer your flight was miserable, but glad you went to bed when you got there... that will really help you adjust to the time zones. Now the trick is NO NAPPING until you get Peyton! (Darren, I'm talking to you!) Stay out in the sun and enjoy your freedom to go where you want when you want for a little longer! ;o) Take way more pictures than you think necessary too. We thought we were taking a ton of pictures, but when we got home we wished we had more; especially of after we had Keira.

OH my gosh! WHat is it about the flights from hell? Stuart had a fat lady practically sitting in his lap on his flight from Denver to Durango!
